Blog – Our Commitment to Quality & Sustainability in 2021

Traditionally, the New Year is an opportunity to reflect, practice gratitude for the gifts we’ve received, contemplate the present, and prepare for the future. As we begin 2021, after one of the most unusual and challenging years in recent history, this ritual is even more important than usual.

Like most of you, we at Bespoke faced our fair share of obstacles and uncertainty in the past year. But we also experienced plenty of amazing moments and learned some valuable lessons.

One of our biggest accomplishments this year was our rebrand, which includes an upgraded design and a new line of CBD products specifically formulated to provide comprehensive wellness support. Our new line includes products like Bespoke 3C for mental health, Bespoke Recovery and Active for energy and fitness support, and Bespoke Serenity for relaxation and tranquility. We also have brand new Manuka Honey and pet products we are excited to share with you soon.

Our rebrand is a reflection of our commitment, since day one, to provide you with the best holistic hemp-based wellness products possible. As the industry has evolved and improved, so have we. We vow to continue to uphold our commitment to quality and your wellbeing in the new year.

Sustainability

Beyond CBD

One of the most exciting recent developments in the CBD industry is the “discovery” of the benefits of other cannabinoids, like CBG and CBN. While we’ve known about these cannabinoids for some time, it’s only in the past few years that researchers have recognized their potential benefits, including supporting healthy sleep cycles, inflammatory response, and immune system function.

As a part of our rebrand in 2020, we launched new products containing CBG and CBN-based extracts to complement our existing CBD-based blends.

In 2021, we will continue to stay abreast of the latest cannabis research and technology and find ways to bring the latest knowledge and innovation to you through our handcrafted products.

Farm to Bottle

We source our CBD solely from hemp grown in the U.S.A. on small-batch farms in Kentucky. Doing so allows us to support the agricultural community, including farmers and the workers they employ. Along with our devotion to quality and our customers’ wellbeing, we are also dedicated to empowering and uplifting communities. This, along with our work with organizations like Tunnels to Towers and Foundation for Women’s Cancer, is one way in which we do so.

What is a Bioaccumulator?

Our source is also crucial because hemp is a bioaccumulator. This means the plant absorbs everything from its environment and detoxifies the air and soil. If the hemp is grown in a highly-polluted area, or a location in which soil testing is not mandatory, it may not be safe to consume.

Some farms in Eastern Europe and Asia grow hemp to mitigate pollution, then harvest and send it to the U.S., where less scrupulous manufacturers use it to produce CBD products. While we are all for using hemp and other plants to clean up the environment, we know those plants are not the same ones we want to be putting in our bodies or those of our customers. This is why we work with U.S.A.-certified organic farms that produce crops grown in organic soil, free of toxins or pesticides.

Partnering with local farms also helps us to support sustainable agriculture. As humanity continues to grapple with the effects of climate change, we believe we all have a responsibility to do our part. In addition to becoming an industry leader in nutraceuticals, utilizing one of the world’s most sustainable and versatile plants, we do so by reducing our C02 emissions and collaborating with partners who care as much about people and the planet as we do.

Our Process

Your health and safety is our priority. For us, quality is a necessity, not an aspiration. We uphold our promise to you by meticulously selecting our sources and ingredients and practicing scrupulous manufacturing processes. While we perform in-house testing for purity and quality, we also send all of our hemp to a third-party lab for testing before the CBD is extracted.

Once it leaves the Kentucky farm, our hemp is expediently sent to Florida to our FDA cGMP-certified facility. This means the plant is certified as meeting the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s standards for good manufacturing practices.

We extract our CBD using CO2, recognized as one of the safest and most efficient methods. C02 extraction allows us to produce potent, pure CBD with no traces of chemicals or toxins.

We will continue to uphold our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality to provide you with exactly what you need to turn health into wellbeing, nothing more, nothing less.
